Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited is an Indian building materials company with headquarters in Mumbai.[2] They provide cement, ready-mix concrete (RMX), and modern building materials (MBM), with an installed capacity of 25 MMTPA.[3][4]

History
editNuvoco is the part of the Nirma Group conglomerate, entered the cement sector in 2014 by establishing a new cement plant in Nimbol, Rajasthan. The company expanded by acquiring Lafarge India Limited in 2016 and later changed its name to Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd in 2017.[5]
In 2019, Nuvoco launched its first Captive Power Plant (CPP) and Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) system at its Chittorgarh Cement Plant.[6]
In 2020, it took over NU Vista Limited (previously known as Emami Cement Limited).[7] [8]
In 2021, Nuvoco was awarded its first patent for a 'Water Resistant Cement Composition' for its Duraguard Waterseal Cement and increased its grinding capacity at the Jojobera Cement Plant by 1.5 MMTPA.[9] That same year, the company went public, successfully listing its shares on the BSE and NSE. As of March 2023, Nuvoco operates 11 cement facilities across India, including five integrated units, five grinding units, and one blending unit located in the eastern states of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, as well as in the northern states of Rajasthan and Haryana.[12] The integrated plants are equipped not only with Waste Heat Recovery (WHR)Systems but also feature Captive and Solar Power Plants in Bhiwani and Chittorgarh.[13]
