Novocaine is an upcoming American action thriller film[1][2] directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. It stars Jack Quaid as Nathan Caine, a bank executive with the inability to feel pain who goes out to rescue his girlfriend/coworker (Amber Midthunder) after she is taken hostage by a group of bank robbers. The film also stars Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.

Nathan Caine is a mild-mannered introvert with a rare disorder, congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), who must rescue his girlfriend who has been taken hostage in a bank robbery.[1]

In October 2023, it was announced that Jack Quaid would star in the action thriller film Novocaine, directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen and written by Lars Jacobson. It is the first film from FilmNation Entertainment's production label Infrared.[2][3] In February 2024, Paramount Pictures acquired the film, with Amber Midthunder also announced as part of the cast.[4] In March, Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh joined the cast of the film.[5] Principal photography began on April 8, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa.[6]
