Ner is a census town and tehsil in Darwha subdivision of Yavatmal district in the state of Maharashtra, India. As per 2011 census population of Ner city was 29302. It has very good connectivity with Samruddhi Expessway is 10 Km away while Badnera railway station is 50 Km and Nagpur International Airport is 190 Km.Also District cities like Amravati at 60 Km and Yavatmal at 33 Km away from the city centre.It is famous for groundnut oil production, Cotton market. [1] The famous Ganpati Math during Ganesha festival,Renuka Devi temple fair during Navratri, Shri Fakirji Maharaj yatra (fair) are held in Ner.[2] Famous landmarks in Ner include a Ganesha temple named 'Shree Ganpati Math', a Someshwar temple, a Jama Masjid,Renuka Devi temple at 3 Km,Aroma Park,Groundnut Oil Mills,Lankeshwar (Lankenath) at 4 Km, an Agricultural produce market committee and a cotton market.
