In 2010, Trim won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Half-Hour Series for episode "A Modest Proposal" of the television series Weeds.
Early life and education
editMichael graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, in 1976, and returned there to speak in 2011. He returned again to deliver the commencement address for the class of 2019 and receive an honorary doctorate for his achievements.[1]

editTrim worked as director of photography for:
