Etymology

edit

The name Mančiagirė comes from a personal name Lithuanian: Mañčius, Moñčius, Moñčis (or Slavic forms Polish: Męcz, Mączko, Męczko, Russian: Манчинский) and a word Lithuanian: giria 'a forest, a wood'.[2]
