Korbal District (Persian: بخش کربال) is in Kharameh County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Soltan Shahr.[3][a] The district was previously administered from the city of Kharameh.[5]

Demographics
editPopulation
editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population (as a part of Shiraz County) was 14,232 in 3,499 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 17,053 people in 4,945 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kharameh County.[3] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 13,754 inhabitants in 4,339 households.[2]
