Early life

Francis attended high school at Metro Christian Academy located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Coming out of high school, Francis committed to play college football for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane as a preferred walk-on.[1][2]

College career

In week eleven of the 2023 season, Francis played the majority of the game completing 22 of his 34 passes for 345 yards and a touchdown in a loss versus Tulane.[3] In week twelve, Francis made his first career start where he threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 17 completions, but Tulsa would fall to North Texas.[4] Francis finished his first collegaite season completing 68 of his 121 pass attempts for 968 yards and six touchdwons to three interceptions, while also adding three yards on the ground.[5][6] Heading into the 2024 season, Francis was named the Golden Hurricane's starting quarterback.[7] In week one of the 2024 season, Francis completed 23 of his 30 pass attempts for 299 yards and four touchdowns, while also adding 17 yards on the ground, as he helped the Golden Hurricane to a win over Northwestern State.[8][9]
