Biography
editDabe was born 1962 or 1963[2] and lives in Stacy, Minnesota.[2] He works as a heavy equipment operator and runs a hobby farm.[3][4] Jeff and his wife Gina have three children.[5]
Dabe is noted for his oversized limbs. In 2022, his forearm measured a girth of 20 inches and his ring finger of 5 inches. His limb size is not a consequence of gigantism or elephantiasis.[6]
Dabe has been arm wrestling since 1981,[3] and was given the nickname Popeye early in his arm wrestling endeavours.[6] In 1996, Dabe injured his right elbow in an arm wrestling match and stopped competing.[2] In 2012,[2] at the age of 48,[6] he returned to the sport, wrestling only with his left arm[6] and becoming the Minnesota state arm wrestling champion.[6]
He is the 2021 International Federation of Arm Wrestling's world champion.[6]
