Janis Holt is an American politician. She is the member-elect of the 18th district of the Texas House of Representatives.[1]

In March 2024, Holt defeated incumbent Ernest Bailes in the Republican primary election for the 18th district of the Texas House of Representatives.[2] In November 2024, Holt defeated Seth Steele, winning 86.6% of the vote.[3] She succeeded Ernest Bailes. She assumes office on January 14, 2025.[1]
