Józef Michał Juszyński de armis Twardost (18 September 1793 – 24 November 1880) was a Bishop of the Diocese of Sandomierz.

Biography
editJuszyński was born in Bieliny. He attended seminary in Kielce between 1812 and 1815, and was ordained in 1816 by Wojciech Górski, the bishop of Kielce.[1][2] After he was ordained, he was hired as a teacher of mathematics;[3] he also taught Latin and religion at a school in Sandomierz.[4]
Juszyński was appointed Bishop of Sandomierz on 16 April 1859;[2] he was consecrated on 10 July 1859 by Antoni Melchior Fijałkowski, assisted by Jan Dekert, titular bishop of Halicarnassus, and Henryk Ludwik Plater, titular bishop of Mosynopolis.[5] He died on 24 November 1880.[3]
