Harrison Keller (academic)

Harrison Keller is an American academic, former education commissioner, and university president who is the current president of the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas. He assumed office on August 1, 2024, succeeding outgoing president Neal Smatresk. He was officially installed as UNT President on November 13, 2024.[1]

Prior to his tenure as president, Keller served in numerous leadership roles at the University of Texas at Austin, and served as commissioner of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for 5 years.[2]
