Hamid Motahari (Persian: حمید مطهری) born on 25 April 1974 in Tehran, Iran, is an Iranian football coach and former player. He currently serves as the head coach of Nassaji Mazandaran.[1][2][3]

Early life
editHamid Motahari born in Tehran, Iran, on 25 April 1974. He is married and has a daughter named Harir.[4]
Club career
editMotahari began his career as a midfielder with the youth team Vahdat and also played for both the youth and senior teams simultaneously.[5] He later joined Persepolis after playing for teams such as Sepahan and Keshavarz. However, his playing career at Persepolis was cut short due to a serious injury.
International career
editMotahari represented Iran in the U-20 team from 1991 to 1993 and the U-23 team from 1993 to 1995

editIn 2007, Motahari started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Saba Qom.
Rah Ahan
editIn 2009, at the age of 35, Motahari joined Rah Ahan as a coach. He served as an assistant coach in the technical staff of the club for about two years.
Persepolis U-23
editIn 2014, Motahari became the head coach of Persepolis U–23.
Saipa
editMotahari joined Saipa in the subsequent year.
Paykan
