Early life
editNechironga was nicknamed "Tyson".[1]
Club career
editAt the age of sixteen, Nechironga signed for Zimbabwean side CAPS United.[2] He was joint-voted the Zimbabwe 1990 Soccer Star of the Year with Zimbabwe international Peter Ndlovu.[3]
International career
editNechironga represented Zimbabwe internationally at youth level and at senior level.[4]
Style of play
editNechironga mainly operated as a striker and was known for his speed.[5]
Post-playing career
editAfter retiring from professional football, Nechironga worked as a manager.[6]
Personal life
editNechironga is the brother of Zimbabwean footballer Francis Nechironga and is the son of Zimbabwean footballer Jawett Nechironga.[7]
