Faati Ne? (Gujarati: ફાટી ને?) is a 2025 Gujarati horror comedy film directed by Faisal Hashmi and written by Faisal Hashmi and Fenil Dave. It stars Hitu Kanodia, Smit Pandya, Akash Zala, Chetan Daiya, and many Australians actors.[2] The film is produced by Shaishav Prajapati, Prakash Sawant, Hardik Gohel, and others. It is presented by SP Cinecorp in association with Sun Outdoors by Sharad Patel, Shreyanshi Patel, Pritish Shah and Pramod Hegde. The film was released on 31 January 2025.[1][3]

On 3 November 2022, the film was announced.[4] The film is produced under the banner of Canus Films in association with Keshwi Production & Fullpixel Films and produced by Shaishav Prajapati, Prakash Sawant, Hardik Gohel, Pratik Desai, Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, Hemil Shah, Vikas Shah, Karminder Chahal, Bhupinder Johal.[1]

Filming

The film's first shooting schedule commenced on 25 March 2023 in Mumbai and wrapped up in 20 days. The second shooting schedule of the film commenced on 24 April 2023 in Melbourne and wrapped up in 10 days.[5]

Marketing and releases

The film was initially scheduled for release on 19 April 2024,[6] but it was postponed due to 18th Lok Sabha elections and 2024 Indian Premier League.[7] On 20 December 2024, the makers announced the new release date with a motion poster on their social media platforms.[1] The official film poster was revealed on 23 December 2024, followed by the teaser launch on 26 December 2024, both shared on social media. The trailer was officially launched on 16 January 2025 at a grand event in Ahmedabad, which was attended by the cast, crew, and well-known personalities from Gujarati cinema.[8]

The film received positive reviews. Kishan Prajapati from Gujarati Jagran rated 4 out of 5, calling it "a thoroughly entertaining blend of horror and comedy." He praised the impeccable comic timing of Hitu Kanodia and Smit Pandya, along with Akash Zala’s eerie portrayal of the ghost Jand. He highlighted the film’s unique setting in Melbourne, appreciating its high production values and the use of Dolby Atmos sound. He also commended the film’s soundtrack, particularly the energetic dance number Padar Ni Omli Hethe, which adds to the film’s humor.
