On 2 October 2023, the Ecuadorian National Olympic Committee officially named the team of 167 athletes competing in thirty one sports.[1]
Athlete Brian Pintado and weightlifter Angie Palacios were named as the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[2] Cyclist Richard Carapaz later replaced Pintado.[3][4] Meanwhile, karateka José Acevedo was the country's flagbearer during the closing ceremony.
