This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). - Comment: Nothing new since Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ramiz King. Borderline candidate for speedy deletion as spam. bonadea contributions talk 20:54, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I would strongly suggest against resubmitting. The AfD plus all the decline templates and comments should give you an indication that several editors have disagreed with you when it comes to the subject's notability. This would clearly not survive another deletion discussion. Please stop and try to understand why you keep getting this declined, and perhaps try again in a few years' time if he garners more coverage. PK650 (talk) 22:58, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: As before. bonadea contributions talk 18:29, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: No actual changes, only some marketing fluff and unsourced claims added (for example, how does the draft creator know anything about King's projected graduation year? The source doesn't say anything about it.) Two added sources, one of them was in the draft last year when it was declined and rejected, and the other one is a very brief gossip style piece with a clickbait title ("...things we bet you didn't know"). bonadea contributions talk 15:37, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: The title could be created as a redirect to West Ta East, perhaps. bonadea contributions talk 12:17, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Agree with Bonadea and Dan arndt's reasoning--and page has not changed substantially since their reviews. Cabrils (talk) 00:15, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: He might become notable in the future, but this draft does not show that he is notable now. He is a reality show participant, which is not something that automatically makes a person notable. The issues discussed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ramiz King are still there, and the sources added since the most recent decline don't add any depth of coverage. The claim that he "gained recognition for initiating a new significant genre of entertainment and celebrity through non-fiction content in Afghanistan" is difficult to understand. "Non-fiction content" doesn't quite make sense, but I think I have seen the draft creator explain that it refers to King producing the reality show BaChashem. But there are Afghan reality shows pre-dating King's BaChashem, such as Afghan Star and Fikr wa Talash. And if King had in fact "gained recognition" for his reality TV work, there would be some evidence of that recognition in reliable sources. bonadea contributions talk 13:32, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: Being a participant on a reality television show is not notable. Dan arndt (talk) 04:13, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: This draft, as written, does not appear to indicate that one of the biographical notability criteria is satisfied. If one of the criteria is satisfied, please revise this draft appropriately, with a reliable source, if necessary stating on the talk page or in AFC comments which criterion is met, and resubmit. It is the responsibility of the submitter to show that a subject satisfies a notability criterion. You may ask for advice about the biographical notability criteria at the Teahouse. In particular, see and refer to WP:GNG for notability, which is the guideline that the subject should be evaluated against. There is also a stub article now. Neither this draft nor the article speaks for itself and establishes general notability. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:57, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
