Nimal Bandara is the current Sri Lankan Ambassador[1] to the State of Israel. He entered the Sri Lankan Foreign Service in 2000 and worked in Sri Lankan Missions in Beijing, The Hague, Islamabad, Baghdad, SAARC Secretariat Kathmandu as Sri Lankan Director, Sri Lankan Consul General in Sydney[2], and Sri Lankan Consul General in Cyprus prior[3] to assuming duties in the present position.
