Iuzmi heads back to Hayama and finds him blaming himself for being unable to stop Yuzuko from hurting herself. Hayama tells Izumi that she is dear to him and loves her. But he has decided that he wants to see his wife and make up with her. Accepting her wish, they promise to live in happiness apart from each other. They go their separate ways.
