Nabab is a 1991 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Produced by Jagdish Pandey under the banner of Baba Taraknath Chitram, the film is based on a story by Anjan Choudhury, which itself was published in his own edited magazine Chumki in 1983. It stars Ranjit Mallick in the titular role, alongside an ensemble cast of Utpal Dutt, Sandhya Roy, Dilip Roy, Anup Kumar, Soumitra Banerjee, Joy Sengupta, Bhaskar Banerjee, Anushree Das, Somasree Chaki, Subrata Chatterjee and Nimu Bhowmik, with Tarun Kumar and Sumanta Mukherjee in special appearances.
The film marks Haranath Chakraborty's second collaboration with Ranjit Mallick after Mangal Deep (1989). The screenplay, dialogues and lyrics were also penned by Anjan Choudhury, in his second collaboration with Chakraborty. The score and soundtrack of the film were composed by R. D. Burman. Kamal Nayek handled the cinematography and Swapan Guha did the editing of the film.
