- Comment: Original description is published in Scientific Research Publishing which is predatory journal, per WP:Predatory it should not be considered as valid. As I search this taxon name with Google Scholar, only studies by Malkani (describer) is shown and not discussed by other researchers. Original description is also mostly cited by Malkani himself, and nothing discussed about its validness. Since it is solely mentioned by Malkani, I don't think this can be accepted. Muzaffarabadmachli is an extinct genus of chordate known from the Early Cambrian Abbottabad Formation of Pakistan.
Discovery and naming
editThe holotype, MSM-1-Muzaffarabad, was found in a section of the Abbottabad Formation which is now located in the concrete chip of the lawn floor of the Tariq Abbassi house, which was a temporary hired office of the Geological Survey of Pakistan.[1]
Classification
editIt has been suggested that it was possibly the oldest known member of Agnatha,[1] and Muzaffarabadmachli was found to be most closely related to Haikouichthys.[1][2]
