Inari Amertron Berhad is an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, supporting global customers in four rapidly-expanding businesses: Radio Frequency, Optoelectronics, Fibre-Optics and Testing and Measurement Equipment sectors.
The Group’s 9 factories are located in Penang and Johor in Malaysia, Kunshan in the People’s Republic of China as well as Clark Field and Paranaque in the Philippines; employing a global workforce of about 5,000 employees.

Inari Amertron Berhad was listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) on 19 July 2011. With its continuously-successful financial performance, the Group was transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia effective 3 June 2014[1].
The Company is Syariah compliant and is included in the list of MSCI Global Small Cap Index[2] within the MSCI Malaysia Index[3]. Inari’s stock codes are INARI / 0166 on Bursa Malaysia, INRI: KL on Bloomberg and INAR.KL on Reuters.
History
editInari Amertron Berhad is formed from the merger and acquisition of two EMS providers: Inari Berhad and Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited.
Inari was established in 2006 as an EMS provider of semiconductor packaging services for global players in the Radio Frequency (RF) mobile industry, which include back-end wafer processing and RF testing. Inari’s facilities are located in Penang and Johor, Malaysia. Inari’s RF products are used mainly in the wireless telecommunications, including smartphones, 3G devices, cellular phones, and wireless computing peripherals.
Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited was established in 1988 and is involved in optoelectronics manufacturing (LEDs, LED displays, optical sensors and Infrared sensors used in data centres, automotive and defence sectors, consumer computing devices and industrial automation); and fibre-optics research, design and manufacturing (fibre-optic transmitters and receivers used in telecommunications industry such as data centres and server switches).
On 25 June 2013, Inari completed the acquisition of Amertron for USD32 million. The name of the enlarged Group was subsequently changed to Inari Amertron Berhad effective 5 July 2013 to reflect the new corporate identity.
