Dellwood Park Scenic Railway was created in 1905-1906 It was made by Chicago and Joilet Electric Railway Company. The scenic railway was created when Jacob Barret came up with an Idea to advertise the company. In 1905 Antoni Dzierdzik and Theodore Ecke lead the project and finished in 1906. It became a tourist attraction. In 1930 the railway need some repairs the project would be funded by Steve Aragon, John Ranney, and Bill Venderveen. But the project go cancelled because of the Great Depression. It was left to rust until they took it down and only bolts remain from the Scenic Railway.

The Structure

The railway stretched 907 yards through Dellwood crossing through wooded sections and the creek that ran through Dellwood Park. The track were made from Iron but the supports from wood.
