AMPLE Entertainment is an independent production company with their head-quarters located in Culver City, California. It was founded by filmmakers, Ari Mark and Phil Lott.[1].
AMPLE has created a range of award-winning projects across various genres, including documentaries, and unscripted series. In their early years, AMPLE produced the reboot of the seminal series Cold Case Files with Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Television, and Danny Glover voicing along with Bill Kurtis, which is currently streaming on Netflix[2] [3]. They've worked with Courteney Cox (9) on "9 Months with Courteney Cox" [4], which received two Emmy nominations [5] AMPLE won an Emmy for Outstanding Educational or Informational Series for their work producing the science education series, "Could You Survive The Movies?"[6] with VSauce creator, Jake Roper, for YouTube Originals. The series explores the science behind what you see in movies, blending scientific exploration with narrative storytelling.[7][8]
The company has several divisions, including a dedicated natural history unit, AMPLE Nature[9]. Their first film "Kangaroo Valley" [10] for Netflix was awarded at the International Wildlife Film Festival in 2023 [11]. AMPLE's true crime division [12] has worked with Roku, Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, and Discovery ID, with shows including Murder in the Heartland [13], now in its 9th Season, The Price of Glee[14] and Death by Fame[15] AMPLE produced the 3-part docu-series "The Invisible Pilot"[16][17], with Executive Producer, Adam McKay, and directed by Mark and Lott, for HBO Documentaries[18][19]
Recent or upcoming shows include "Masaharu Morimoto’s Sushi Master"[20], the World's first Sushi competition series for Roku Originals, and the 3-part epic series "Ancient Empires" [21] for History Channel.
