The Japanese category this is linked to via Wikidata (for interlingual links) are for Japanese dishes with vegetables (日本の野菜料理, nihon no yasai ryôri), but that doesn't necessarily mean those dishes are vegetarian. Dishes with vegetables can also contain meat, and indeed, this was the case with the dishes referred to as yasai ryôri. The first dish I found when searching 野菜料理 on Google Images even had groundmeat (ひき肉, hikiniku) in it (keep in mind: Google search results may differ). And at least one dish in the Japanese Wikipedia category even has meat (肉, niku) in the name: Nikujaga ("meat-potato"). That article is also on English Wikipedia, but surely we wouldn't categorise it under 'Vegetarian dishes of Japan', would we?
From what I could tell by pulling the Korean title through Google Translate, the linked Korean category also is for vegetarian dishes. I don't know about the Persian/Farsi category though, which I can't access, apparently because it's been vandalised.
So, I suggest we either rename the English and Korean categories to match the Japanese one. Or we split up the Wikidata IDs: one for Japanese, and another for English and Korean. And the Persian/Farsi one could be included in whichever one would be most fitting, after (or before?) the vandalism has been resolved. I'll refrain from making a Dutch category until this has been resolved. SakoeraTyan (talk) 15:13, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
