Hello. I'm quite aware of the fierce debate that's raged over the years regarding New York City, New York (state), the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of New York, etc., but I was wondering if the "(state)" qualifier is appropriate for this category and here given that there aren't categories New York City Democrats or New York City Republicans, and the existing categories include both city and state subjects.
