Everyone knows they mean the same. Whether it's a male or female.Maersayer (talk) 09:43, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

This category must be deleted because it is discriminative. --Mercenario97 (talk) 23:36, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistent alphabetization

edit

This listing is inconsistently alphabetized. For example, "Veto Ali" is listed under "V", not "A". I know this is a stage name, and it could be the rule that stage names are placed according to their first letter. This would explain why "Whoopi Goldberg" is under "W", instead of "G".

However, this is not followed consistently either. For example:

  • "J. B. Smoove" (stage name of Jerry Brooks) listed under "S"
  • "Mr. T" (stage name of Laurence Tureaud) listed under "T"
  • "Slappy White" (stage name of Melvin White) listed under "W"

There are probably other discrepancies. I'd like to get clarification on this before I go changing things. ChrisWinter (talk) 20:12, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Category issue

edit

There are categories for African-American actors, but not for African-American theatres/companies, although there is a category for African-American playwrights and dramatists. Makes it hard for people to learn more about early theatres and companies, such as the African Grove in NY.Parkwells (talk) 18:03, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
