Baoris penicillata, the Paintbrush swift, is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae.[1] It is found in India, Sri Lanka,[2] Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos,[3] and recently from China.[4]

Wingspan is about 32-38mm.[5] Three subspecies recognized.
