The Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS)[1][2] is a statutory professional membership body in Bangladesh dedicated to improving the practice of medicine and surgery, chiefly through the accreditation of doctors by examination. This institution was established in 1972, by the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons Order 1972, an ordinance issued by the Hon'ble President of Bangladesh.[3] It organizes examinations for Fellowship (FCPS)[4] and Membership (MCPS).[5][6][7]

editMore than 7,000 people have been named a Fellow of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, since its inception in 1972. The Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons publishes a database of all fellows.[9]
