Amorosi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 45 km northeast of Naples and about 30 km northwest of Benevento. As of 1 January 2020, it had a population of 2,709 and an area of 11.0 km2.

Archaeology
editIn 2024, an Iron Age necropolis dating back to the 8th-7th centuries BCE was discovered near Amorosi during the construction of an electric station. Artifacts found at the site include a variety of vases, weapons, and bronze ornaments.[4]
