Amastra luteola is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Amastridae.[1]

Description
editThe shell is dextral, elongate, and delicately striatulate. Its coloration is white, covered by a transient buff-colored epidermis. <It is composed of 5–6 whorls, the body whorl is only faintly carinate. The suture is simple and not duplicated.
The aperture is ovate-elongate, while the columella is white and gracefully arcuate. The umbilical crevice is indistinct. [2]
Distribution
editThis species is endemic to Hawaii, occurring on Kohala (mountain).
