  • 3 February – Joe McGrath takes over as BBC Radio Manchester's breakfast presenter, succeeding Anna Jameson.[20]
  • 15 February – Anne Marie McAleese presents her final edition of BBC Radio Ulster's Your Place And Mine, which she has presented since 1991.[21]
  • 21 February – Heart and Capital stations in England will end all local and regional programming. Scotland and Wales will retain their current levels of non-networked programming.[22]
