2024–25 Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team

The 2024–25 Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team will represent Appalachian State University in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mountaineers, led by sixth-year head coach Dustin Kerns, will play their home games at the Holmes Center in Boone, North Carolina as members in the Sun Belt Conference.

The Mountaineers finished the 2023–24 season 27–7, 16–2 in Sun Belt play to finish as the 2023–24 Sun Belt regular season champions. The Mountaineers lost to Arkansas State in the second round of the Sun Belt tournament. They lost to Wake Forest in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament.[1]

The Mountaineers were picked to finish in sixth place in the conference's preseason poll.[8] Graduate forward CJ Huntley was named to the preseason All-SBC Second Team.[8] Senior guard Myles Tate was named to the conference preseason third team.[8]
