The 1780 North Carolina gubernatorial election was held in 1780 in order to elect the Governor of North Carolina. Candidate Abner Nash was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly as he ran unopposed. The exact number of votes cast in this election is unknown.[1]

editOn election day in 1780, Candidate Abner Nash was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly. Nash was sworn in as the 2nd Governor of North Carolina on 21 April 1780.[2]
