1777 North Carolina gubernatorial election

The 1777 North Carolina gubernatorial election was held in 1777 in order to elect the Governor of North Carolina. Incumbent Governor Richard Caswell was re-elected by the North Carolina General Assembly as he ran unopposed. The exact number of votes cast in this election is unknown.[1]

On election day in 1777, incumbent Governor Richard Caswell was re-elected by the North Carolina General Assembly. Caswell was sworn in for his second term on 18 April 1777.[2]
