Kirishima drops his “normal” act and reveals his disappointment that she turned out boring, as he was hoping she would be as twisted as he is and satisfy his masochistic fetish for chaos. He offers to employ her as a prostitute, implying her only value is her body. Yoshino becomes upset, then feels worse when the girls vandalise her belongings. Renji challenges her to make Kirishima fall in love with her, before breaking his heart. Yoshino disappears for two weeks then returns and informs Kirishima she did “sell her body”, by selling her kidney for ¥4 Million which she throws in his face before threatening the girls. Yoshino’s bodyguard Inamori reveals when he was 12 Kirishima put 20 classmates in hospital, so his parents asked Gaku to intervene, which is how Kirishima became Yakuza. By coincidence Yoshino spots Shiori in a club belonging to her grandfather’s business partner. It is revealed Shiori and the dead employee cheated the Filipino Mafia out of ¥500 million, so they murdered the employee, scared President Akaza into hiding and want Shiori dead. Kirishima insists Shiori take responsibility, which hopefully will avoid war between the Miyama and the Filipino’s. Filipino thugs burst in looking for Shiori and injure Yoshino. Furious, Kirishima savagely beats Shiori’s guards and the Filipino’s. Angry herself, Yoshino saves Kirishima by knocking a Filipino unconscious, thrilling Kirishima. President Akaza and Shiori are exiled from Japan. The Miyama and Filipino’s make peace and Yoshino is astounded to be awarded ¥10 million for finding Shiori. Refusing the absurd amount she settles for Kirishima replacing her hairdryer she hit the Filipino with. Kirishima spots a man watching him and Yoshino.

Yoshino catches Kirishima watching her as she sleeps, claiming he wanted to see her face when she isn’t mad. Yoshino points out she gets mad because he’s always committing crimes. Kirishima is baffled Yoshino doesn’t care he has lovers and decides to change into someone she can love, so she will get mad when he cheats on her. The man watching Yoshino is revealed to be Shoma from Yoshino’s clan whom she has known all her life. Kirishima starts investigating Shoma. Yoshino reveals her plan to eventually break Kirishima’s heart to Shoma, but he advises caution. At the highest levels of the Yakuza Yoshino and Kirishima marrying is a first attempt to bring about peace, but if the engagement fails it could cause war between the Somei and Miyama, leading to a larger war between the Tokusa and Kiriyama clans who run Eastern and Western Japan. Shoma offers to kill Kirishima so Yoshino can go home to Osaka, but she refuses. Shoma leaves for a cigarette and is confronted by Kirishima.

Shoma is surprised Kirishima believes Renji has no plans for him to actually marry Yoshino but is using the engagement as a manipulation. Yoshino intervenes and Shoma warns her to be careful of whatever game she is playing with Kirishima. The next day Yoshino notices Kirishima has begun letting out his dangerous side again and fears he has grown bored of her. Yoshino asks if he is jealous of Shoma. Kirishima claims he isn’t, since her dating Shoma would actually feed his masochism. So while he is happy for her to cheat on him, it comes with the condition that one day he would kill Shoma. Yoshino admits she planned to dump him in a year and return to Osaka, but she makes him a deal, if he can somehow make her love him, she will stay in Tokyo. She also insists he drop all his acts and be himself at all times. The next day Yoshino catches a cold and Kirishima attempts to look after her, but she insists he go to school. Due to some yakuza business Kirishima is late home and finds in his absence Yoshino has worsened so he takes her to hospital. Half asleep, Yoshino notices Kirishima smells nice. Kirishima updates Renji, who is surprisingly happy with their current relationship.

Yoshino decides to visit her cousin Tsubaki, so Kirishima goes with her. Yoshino is concerned Tsubaki is exactly Kirishima’s type of woman. Like Kirishima, Tsubaki keeps several lovers and has no problem including Kirishima if Yoshino doesn’t care, exasperating Yoshino. Tsubaki also idolises Renji as the ideal man, despite him being her grandfather. Tsubaki deduces Kirishima craves attention from Yoshino in a way he doesn’t with other women. The school suddenly calls, reminding Yoshino she forgot to submit some paperwork, so she takes a taxi home. Left alone with Tsubaki, Kirishima reveals he knows her stepfather is a Director in the Doseikai Medical Group, infamous for illegal organ transplants, meaning Tsubaki is who Yoshino approached to sell her kidney. Kirishima is confident Tsubaki cares about Yoshino too much to actually do it, so she must have faked the surgery without Yoshino knowing. Tsubaki admits she never removed Yoshino’s kidney, she just took enough blood to make Yoshino sick and believe the surgery was real. Tsubaki is confident Yoshino is currently in no danger, but warns Kirishima she is perfectly capable of relocating Yoshino where he will never find her. Later, Yoshino is furious to learn Kirishima traded Tsubaki a photo of Renji as a teenager in exchange for a photo of Yoshino in a bikini.
