Woodrow Wilson West (born 19 September 1985) is a Belizean professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League of Belize club Verdes FC and the Belize national team. He has played in Honduras.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Club career
editIn February 2008, West was signed by Panamanian side Atlético Chiriquí.[9]
International career
editIn July 2013, West and fellow Belizean international Ian Gaynair were praised by CONCACAF for reporting an attempt to bribe them ahead of a Gold Cup match against the United States.[10]
He participated in qualifying matches for the 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
Personal life
editDuring a Verdes match against Progresso on 17 May 2023, West was detained by police for questioning regarding the murder of 19-year-old Imarie Galvez.[11] He was later cleared as a suspect.[12]
