"Collaborating institutions" in particle physics

We have various articles about international collaborations that list all the institutes where someone did something for the project at some point in the past. For stubs these lists can be much longer than the article, e.g. for COMET. Does that really help anyone? I don't see any value from these lists. --mfb (talk) 04:18, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

Rotational Diffusion

While reading the current version of Rotational diffusion, I was really surprised, that there should be five rotational time constants. In my view, there should only be three. I tried to verify the five rotational time constants in the linked papers, and regardless they were written in french, I never found anything about five rotational time constants.

I have looked into older versions of the article, its seems like the paragraph was changed to its current version ten years ago (Link to a 2009 version of the Rotational diffusion). My linked version is the last version before someone added the five time constants.

I would really appreciate, if someone is able to explain why there should be five time constants and to give me a source that I can verify that (for me) unituitive information. --Andilope (talk) 10:05, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

I kind of think their conduct, which has now escalated to questioning my mental health, warrants a warning of some sort, but I'd rather someone else make that call. They seem to have it out for me personally (whereas the most feeling I can summon up is a vague exasperation that the limited time I have here each day goes to this nonsense, rather than writing anything fun).
