This page has run into the absolute limit to the number of transcluded templates allowed on a page. This has been a problem with other WikiProject Userboxes pages before. This means that the page is not displaying them all correctly and the only cure is to reduce the number of userboxes, by splitting the content over two or more pages. - Ahunt (talk) 23:33, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

A *disabled veteran* userbox. I'm not looking for a lot of granularity, so (for example) I don't see a need for 'this user is a 10% disabled veteran of the US Air Force' and so on and on with dozens of different species. But perhaps we could have one style of userbox for combat-disabled vets and another style for noncombat-disabled vets? Full disclosure: I'm a noncombat-disabled US Army vet. How about this? The standard blue-and-white handicapped graphic (such as you'd see on a sign for a handicapped parking space) for both, with the word VETERAN below. For combat vets, add the word COMBAT above. Simple, straightforward and hopefully not any sort of copyvio. My wife thinks the COMBAT VETERAN version should be colored purple, however, as a tip o' the hat to Purple Heart recipients. Thanks and regards! 72.0.15.8 (talk) 09:44, 13 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
one German. The Slovak one looks virtually identical to the symbol used in the USA, but the shapes of the German and Icelandic symbols might make it easier to place text blocks above and below. And this graphic, also from the Commons, might also be worth considering. I know the guys in it are wearing BDUs circa 1985, but the image of a troop helping his buddy gave me a warm fuzzy. Can you work with those, or shall I dig deeper, over? :) 72.0.15.8 (talk) 19:25, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Some good ideas there! Okay have a look here and see what you think! You can either edit them your self to incorporate improvements or post suggestions here and I'll make changes. - Ahunt (talk) 00:37, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
While I have seen the special page for U.S. Navy user boxes I'd like to see more user boxes for the U.S. Navy, similar to those presently appearing in the U.S. Army section's selection of unit affiliation. Specifically, I'm thinking about user boxes for the ((SeaBees)) and those who have earned ((Seabee combat warfare specialist insignia)). If the Commons images are not useful, I have personal photos that I'd be willing to upload for this purpose. More varied user boxes for military ribbons would be appreciated also. Thanks in advance for anyone's looking into this. I'm not the programming type, so I'll freely admit to a severe discomfort in attempting to rectify missing user boxes. However, I've proven that I can be taught. Ping me, or visit my user page to leave a message on my talk page.
