Continental breakdown

Is there a word that could sum up the Internet/outer space? We also had a virus in January so how would that fit in? It might be better to have a section titled "other", only with a more interesting title. Furthermore, almost all of the items included in these 2 categories are also included in the continental breakdowns except for the likes of the computer virus which not really an American thing. Space exploration gets to be classified twice: under outer space and under the appropriate regional grouping. –Howard the Duck 05:17, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Is that fair? Isn't it giving higher numbers to America, Asia and Europe - and neglecting Africa, a continent which had a comparably low ITN count in January considering its population and therefore presumably news? We could've had their counterpart of the World Economic Forum although I dunno if it was even nominated. The fact that most space items are associated with U.S. and Europe is not out fault. We only follow other news outlets on what they report, it's like our own WP:OR policy here. Although ITN doesn't report everything from the news outlets, ITN only reports what they report and not some minor knife-stabbing incident.

I'm also open for splitting my classification of "Americas" to "North+Central America+Caribbean excl. USA" and "South America". –Howard the Duck 03:50, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
