  1. Support. Amitchell125 took an early lead in cleaning up numerous citation, prose and MOS issues to get the article to a place where its status was within reach. First editing the article in January 2022, five months later, Amitchell125 is the top editor of this Featured article, with a fifth of the authorship. • "As of 1983, of the four coastal types, 44% of the coast is floating ice in the form of an ice shelf, 38% consists of ice walls that rest on rock, 13% is ice streams or the edge of glaciers, and the remaining 5% is exposed rock." - this has been presumably actively changing since 1983 - is there a more recent source potentially available? I'm a bit concerned that it's losing relevance as quickly as Antarctica loses ice
    • Had a look for more recent sources, but couldn't find anything equivalent. Climate change has been quite delayed in Antarctica compared to the rest of the world, so I think it'll be fine for another 5 years... Femke (talk) 13:32, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • " Sand and silts were laid down in what is now" - per WP:OVERLINK I'm not sure we need to link sand   Done Femke (talk) 13:32, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ready for climate; hopefully will return tomorrow. Hog Farm Talk 04:42, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • "Conversely, the South Pole" - geographic, or magnetic?

Ready for history of exploration; back tomorrow. Hog Farm Talk 20:56, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
