The Arbitration Committee opened one case this week and closed none, leaving three open.
New cases
- MZMcBride 2 (Week 1): A case opened to examine allegations of misconduct by MZMcBride relating to BLPs and Thekohser.
Open cases
- Chabad movement (Week 3): An arbitration case opened to examine allegations of biased editing and combat on articles related to the Chabad movement of Judaism.
Motion to close
- Tothwolf (Week 12): An arbitration case opened to look into the behavior of four editors: Tothwolf, JBsupreme, Miami33139, and Theserialcomma.
Motions
- In lieu of opening a case regarding BLP deletions, the ArbCom passed a motion granting amnesty to all editors involved in the BLP controversy (see related story), commending them for enforcing the BLP policy and foundation directive while rebuking them for acting in such a chaotic manner. The Committee recommended a request for comments be filed to discuss the best way to enforce BLP (since opened here).
Miscellaneous
- Arbitrator Vassyana has resigned; he retained his functionary status and his access to the Checkuser tool.
- Rlevse has stepped down from the Audit subcommittee and has been replaced by SirFozzie.
