- Make sure your username has no identifying characteristics (i.e. your name)- this will be a public account.

Learn more and Choose a Topic on 9/23
In Class
We will meet for a class session all about Wikipedia on 9/23. During this class, we will talk about how wikipedia works, how to edit wikipedia, and how to find sources for your edits. After this class, you will select an article to edit with your partner for your assignment.
You can select your article from our class google doc. After you've put your name near the article you want to edit, I will asign you the article here so you can edit it in your sandbox.
Choose a biographical article about a person who identifies as a woman, trans, non-binary, and/or LGBTTQI+. (Any category of person marginalized by gender or sexuality.)

Before we meet again on October 14th, you will need to conduct research to find information about your person. Before 10/14, you should have your sources, and your 3 sentences ready to go for the moment of truth when we submit these edits to Wikipedia!
