Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Peer review/Mario
Previous peer review here.
Currently, the article is pretty good. The Reception section is pretty large, and its moreorless ordered appropriately, IMO. Mario is pretty much one of the most important characters as far as video games go, so I'm hoping to at least get it to GA-standard soon. Hopefully, with a peer review, that goal will be easier to obtain. Harry Blue5 (talk) 12:09, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- I think it looks like it would be close to GA. Every section is nicely detailed and mostly sourced. What isn't sourced really could be sourced to the actual game it is talking about. I redid the whole appearances section a year and a half ago, which improved it greatly. It read like a series article instead of a character article. Blake (Talk·Edits) 14:20, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- So, any particular problems that stop this from getting to GA? Harry Blue5 (talk) 13:09, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I removed "also"s and made sure every <ref> was after a punctuation mark. Thats a start. Try looking at GAN and GARs of articles promoted from the past year or so. Blake (Talk·Edits) 16:05, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- I also italicized games, and (re)moved some information. Blake (Talk·Edits) 16:19, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, anything else? Harry Blue5 (talk) 23:28, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, not that I can plainly see. I only have 2 GAs under my belt, one of them being a character. I thought others would have commented by now, but I guess Peer Reviews generally don't get much attention. Try bringing it up on project talk pages or something.
