- What is perhaps the most controversial article relating to video games on Wikipedia, the GamerGate controversy article went through an Arbitration case from November 27th, 2014 to January 29th, 2015. The proposed decision on the case resulted in thirteen editors being sanctioned from all things relating to the topic, from topic bans to even an editor being site banned. Whether you support or oppose GamerGate, the impact of the case resulted in it making news on websites like The Guardian.
