Howdy! Welcome to WikiProject Texas A&M. This project formed from a group of Aggie Wikipedians who worked to promote the Texas A&M University article to Featured Article status. Successful at this task, we felt that the best way to coordinate improvements to Texas A&M Articles was to form a WikiProject. Wikiproject Texas A&M has made significant progress on Texas A&M pages. We have:
- Organized all Texas A&M articles with a ranking system both of importance and quality of articles. Assessment
- Brought the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, the History of Texas A&M University, Aggie Bonfire, and Lawrence Sullivan Ross articles to featured article status.
- Two of our FA's have have become featured articles of the week. Aggie bonfire, and the band.
- Grown to 20 members. Participants
Goals
editOur goals are to:
- Maintain and improve the quality of Texas A&M-related articles
- Get Texas A&M to Featured Topic status.
- Represent Texas A&M in a classy and clean way

To maintain article quality, please follow these rules:
- Provide sources for your edits
- Restrain the number of red links
- Ensure external links are active
- Check orthography before saving your changes
- Patrol project watchlists 1 and 2 for recent changes
If you are contributing to this WikiProject, then you are probably a fan of the University. However, in the articles you edit, please try to avoid academic boosterism, maintain a neutral point of view, and avoid peacock terms and weasel words.

Please upload all free use images (public domain, Creative Commons, etc) to the Commons, add them to the Texas A&M category and add them to the appropriate section in the Texas A&M article on the Commons. For a list of requested photos, please see Texas A&M talk page on the Commons. Wikipedia also has an images category for Texas A&M. Lastly, keep an eye on Texas A&M-related images on Flickr. Flickr images should carry either the "Attribution" or "Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0" licenses.
