Statistics is an integral part of everyday life, it is used in practically all fields and topics ranging from census and election results, geographic data, economics and business, health, education and other government functions and services, even the performance of sports stars and teams is expressed in terms of statistics. Anything and everything that is amenable to quantification is a subject for statistics.
