On 24 January, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Transportation in Saskatchewan Did you know...that 250,000 kilometers (150,000 miles) of roads complement air, pipeline, hiking trail, and waterway travel to provide transportation in Saskatchewan?. This would be WikiProject Saskatchewan's ninth full-fledged edition of our Newsletter, and we'd like to start by saying we are very happy to have you among us.
If you've just joined, add your name to the Members section of Wikipedia:WikiProject Saskatchewan. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy!
Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the Newsletter. Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!
What's New?: The new articles are now being identified by a robot, and new members are being invited. At WikiProject Saskatchewan New articles please check our new Saskatchewan related articles. There are approximately 50 new articles since the last news letter!
There has been quite a number of Saskatchewan community articles created as of late. Experienced editors are requested to help improve articles to good article or feature article status.
{{Saskatchewan topics}} template needs new articles such as Tourism in Saskatchewan. The template currently wikilinks to articles, lists and categories. The lists and categories should be replaced with new articles where appropriate.
Drm310 (talk·contribs) is our current editor to receive the Spotlight Saskatchewan Award. Drm310 has contributed to the growth of Saskatchewan articles on wikipedia through creation. Articles already existing have seen improved lead paragraphs, sections, section headings, consistency and standardized formatting. Drm310 has tirelessly contributed to the expansion and improved quality of articles, which is the current focus of the Wikproject. A large thank you goes out to Drm310 at this time. Pop by and give Drm310 a pat on the back for their work on WikiProject Saskatchewan.
Please feel free to sign up as a Spotlight administrator and nominate more excellent and notable Saskatchewan editors on Wikipedia who deserve attention, and honour.
