Purpose & scope

This group is dedicated to the improvement and organisation of all articles related to the 2008 South Ossetia war. This includes all subarticles of the 2008 war (e.g. Battle of Tskhinvali) as well as articles about older conflicts in South Ossetia and Abkhazia (e.g. 1991-1992 South Ossetia war and War in Abkhazia), which constitute background material to the 2008 war.
