Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?: TMBG has been around for over 35 years. They've recorded thousands of songs, released dozens of recordings, and have enough going on to have a pretty bitchin' wiki of their own. However, while TMBW.net is a treasure trove, its editorial standards are fairly lax. To me it's a no brainer that some puppet heads should band together and ensure that all articles pertaining to TMBG on Wikipedia are high quality.

Wouldn't this just be another project that works on a handful of articles, then dies? Maybe we need some kind of "temporary wikiproject" system. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 00:26, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
