Discussion
editThere is a task force, covering the subject: Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Language and literature of Russia task force. It was started about a month ago, and currently is in development. I think that we can do without a standalone project for now. I know just a few people whom I intend to ask to join the task force, and better leave it as a part of WikiProject Russia. - To clarify my position I should say that actually I would like to have a separate project some time later. But we already have two inactive Russia-related projects which never became properly developed due to the low participation: Wikipedia:WikiProject Russian History and Wikipedia:WikiProject Russian federal subjects. That's why I think that for now we should better have a task force, and in future, if we have enough participants and activity, we may switch to a project on its own. Anyway, the current task force seems able to provide all the necessary infrastructure, such as bot alerts, popular pages list, featured content listing etc. GreyHood Talk 15:49, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
